Aura Garcia Sanchez is an actress who has appeared in Spanish film and on television. She was an actor in Stockholm as well as the television show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was born in Madrid in 1989. Tomas Garrido, her father is an orchestra conductor and composer, while Pilar Sanchez is a painter. Her first piano lesson began at age four. She began ballet soon after. She had a most trusted friend who could speak English that taught her the English language. She enrolled in Madrid's Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico following her graduation at high school. In her 3rd year she did a course on the interpretation of texts and textual interpretation. In 2010, however she resigned from the school since she was cast as a character in Planes para manana. Her performance earned she recognition with the Silver Biznaga for best supporting actress as well as a Goya Awards nomination in the most outstanding breakthrough actress category in addition to other nominations.
