Shannon Spake

Shannon Spake, born July 23rd, 1976 is a NASCAR reporter and college basketball and football reporter for Fox Sports. Prior to that, she was employed by ESPN who allowed her to contribute to SportsCenter to provide pre and post-game coverage. She also worked as an off-line reporter with SEC on ESPN basketball matches as well as college football matches. Spake was also a reporter for SEC Network (owned by ESPN). Spake was previously employed by Speed Channel. There, she was host of NASCAR Nation (June through November 2005) in addition to serving as reporter. Back Seat Drivers was also hosted by Spake and Marty Smith. Her previous roles include on the air for WCCB, Charlotte, North Carolina as well as Carolina Sports and Entertainment Television.
